Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 11-1 PM ET via Zoom – ReImagine Appalachia and The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) gave an overview of funding and other functionalities offered by this agency.

The ARC is an economic development partnership entity of the federal government and 13 state governments focusing on 423 counties across the Appalachian Region. The ARC supports Appalachian communities by providing grants, publishing research, sponsoring learning experiences and more.

The first hour of this event included an overview of what the ARC offers and a Q and A. The second hour included breakout for a deeper dive and networking with partners in the region.

If you are seeking assistance or resources, you can reach out to ARC’s technical assistance email at [email protected]

Folks on the call expressed interest in a Grant of the Month Club Slack Workspace where people can interact outside of the monthly webinars on various funding opportunities and other applicable resources.  We have started that here.  If you are new to Slack, here is more information regarding how to use it – please consider joining the thread!
