What’s the difference between charcoal and a burnt piece of wood? One, charcoal needs to be burned in a minimum oxygen environment to make a carbon rich product that burns for a long time. Two, not to shatter anyone’s dreams here, it’s much harder to make money off of a burnt piece of wood!
