On Wednesday, March 20th at Noon ET we were joined by Annie Warmke who discussed how woman wanna-be farmers find farm land!
Annie Warmke is a writer, farmer, business leader, and activist who has received awards for her work in sustainability and social justice. She owns and manages Blue Rock Station Sustainable Living Center and Farm where she built the first Earthship east of the Mississippi River. As a farmer she raises dairy goats, teaches cheese making, and is developing food forests. Annie co-founded Women Grow Ohio, and Buffalo Gals Voices to create networking opportunities and periodic classes and encampment weekends for women in agriculture. Over the course of her career, she has written or contributed to several books including three naturally healthy goat books, and co-produces the nationally syndicated podcast “When the BioMass Hits the Wind Turbine” with Jay Warmke.
