In this webinar we explored how the steep rise in data center development could be part of a reindustrialization push in Appalachia. Brownfields should always be a first option for new development – turning our old liabilities into new opportunities. Even better than re-using old sites solely for data centers, we can diversify the buildout by pairing a data center with new industry, such as manufacturing. 

This approach could make our economies more diverse, and more stable to long-term economic shifts.
