We held our first coalition Strategy Summit, which allowed discussion on how to achieve a 21st Century sustainable Appalachia and shared prosperity in the region.
To kick off our summit, we had a panel of experts to help us understand the national political landscape as ReImagine Appalachia makes plans to take its work to Washington.
Our speakers included:
–Michael Ettlinger, Director at Carsey School of Public Policy, University of New Hampshire and former Vice President for Economic Policy at the Center for American Progress
–Collin O’Mara, CEO of National Wildlife Federation
–Roxanne Brown, International Vice President for United Steelworkers.
