We held an event celebrating how federal investments from the Inflation Reduction Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Laws and the CHIPS Act are helping communities in Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA), as well as helping workers and the climate!
We had so much fun celebrating electric school buses in NEPA ⚡️🚌 with @RepCartwright, @BGAlliance, @PennFuture, @ConservationPA!

Thanks to federal climate investments, we can have cleaner air, cut costs for schools, & create good paying union jobs! pic.twitter.com/j2YZAqCGoZ
During this event, we discussed how your community can go after federal support for the projects you want and discuss ways to help make your application process more competitive.
Congressman Matt Cartwright was our keynote speaker. We also heard from community representatives, local labor unions and environmental groups on the positive impacts of these federal investments such as expanded passenger rail, clean school bus awards, support for sustainable manufacturing and resources to go solar.
