The Partnerships for Opportunity and Workforce and Economic Revitalization (POWER) Initiative by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), is a critical resource for communities and regions impacted by job losses in coal-related industries. In October 2023, ARC awarded nearly $54 million in investments to enhance entrepreneurship, workforce development, and infrastructure to spur re-employment, job creation, and attract new investments.

Unlocking Potential: ARC POWER Grants

ARC POWER grants provide financial support to eligible entities, ranging from $400,000 to $2,000,000. Exceptions are made for broadband deployment and BaaS projects, which can receive up to $2,500,000.
