Over the past two years, we collectively developed a vision and draft action plan for transforming the Ohio River valley of Appalachia into a sustainable hub for manufacturing. Join us to hear an overview of the updated draft plan, following the Appalachian Manufacturing Strategy Summit, and then begin the discussion of how we finalize the plan and move from planning to action, asking and answering the following questions: What should be the process for finalizing and sharing this plan? What action items are most achievable in the near term? What are the most critical pieces to address? What is a long-term challenge requiring sustained effort? What policies can we move forward in the current environment?
