Tuesday, September 10th at Noon ET, Chris McGinnis, Senior Director of Programs and Regional Partnerships at Rivers of Steel will be discussing the recent launch of our Partners for Creative Economy initiative. Partners for a Creative Economy is a long-term vision for the future of the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area that presents transformational opportunities to communities left out of the recent economic growth and prosperity in the city of Pittsburgh. This network unites Rivers of Steel’s cross-sectoral approach to placemaking with an integrated strategy that incentivizes partnership. Its goal is to build up local leaders and invest in the future success of the region’s cultural and heritage assets through a range of promotional and professional development strategies, workforce development, technical assistance, and funding.
